GRAPHIC DESIGN

My journey from small and large format design to digital branding has allowed me to work with incredible products and companies, each with their unique stories. Learning about how these brands began and evolved fills me with pride, as I contribute to their growth and identity. This path has not only honed my skills but also deepened my appreciation for the craftsmanship and passion behind each project, making every collaboration a rewarding experience.

    Branding

    Chévere LF

The logo concept was designed for a new Casino (Cuban) Salsa dance studio. In Spanish, the name translates to “Cool,” so I aimed to infuse a modern and smooth vibe while also celebrating Cuban culture. The color scheme features the colors of the Cuban flag, arranged in a gradient to allow for additional color options. I incorporated the “Clave” beat, a fundamental rhythm in Latin music, into the word itself, reflecting its authentic representation when recorded.

    Cheesecakery

I had the opportunity to collaborate with The Cheesecakery to rebrand their food trucks, as they were often mistaken for selling cupcakes. To clearly communicate that they specialize in cheesecake, I suggested we cover the trucks with eye-catching photos of their delicious desserts. They organized a photo shoot to capture the perfect images. In the final design, I also included a fun icon highlighting the key ingredients of their cheesecake, reinforcing the message throughout the truck. Now, there’s no confusion—it’s clear that they are all about cheesecake!

    Product Design

    Taft’s DKB

Brewed in memory of our friend and Heidelberg distribution co-worker, Dani Kelsey Brosious, I was selected by Taft’s to design this special beer as a tribute to her. By staying true to their branding style while incorporating her vibrant personality, I created a fitting homage. This Berliner Weisse features a delightful blend of tropical mango and passionfruit, resulting in a tart and refreshing pint that will remind you of her with every sip.

    Old Bakery Gin

I participated in a competition to design the logo and label for a gin brand in London. The fascinating backstory involves a family of bakers who illegally distilled gin in the late 18th century. After years of searching, the long-lost recipe was rediscovered through their family tree. Now legal, this once-elusive gin is reemerging in London’s drinking scene. The brand’s inspiration comes from the renovated old baker’s sign of the building they purchased.
